Meet our Pastor  Rev "Deke" Sawyer moved to Jackman in June 2003 after finishing his career as a Tranportation Manager for a large paper company. Deke began to study for the pastorate after reading his grandfathers diary and feeling the call of God on his life to fulltime ministry. He seeks to help people discover their maker and the love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ. He has a passion for unity in the Body of Christ. He believes that the Holy Spirit and His fullness in the believers life is the power to win souls to Christ and effect sanctification and Holiness in the believers life. Deke enjoys hunting, fishing and snowmobiling in God's great outdoors. Deke says "God often speaks to me while in the wonder of His creation". He created human beings as the capstone of His Creation. His eye is always on us even as we sleep. He wants to have a vibrant and intimate relationship with you and He sends the church to let you know that fact.
